Monday, July 20th, 2009

When you are endeavoring to produce money off of the written articles on your website, it is critical to effectively promote your website so that you will attract in customers and they can see just what a good, quality site you have created about that niche. Banner advertising is merely one of many different varieties of marketing and web promotion methods.

Banner Ads Can Do A Great Deal For You.

Traffic from other sites can click on a banner that will take them to your web site. While it can be pricey at first for you to promote yourself on websites that have a high volume of traffic, in the long run it can be more effective and less pricey than waiting for your page ranking to improve. Apart from paying to advertise on someone’s site, there are in addition free banner exchanges to choose from. We will look at the pluses and minuses of each banner advertising method below.

Free Banner Exchanges

When you decide to exchange banners with other people, you are using a free banner exchange. You place their banner on your site and they will place your banner on their site. There are 2 main problems with the free banner exchanges. First, if you want your banner on a significant number of web sites, it will mean cluttering up your own site up with these banners. This could even shot you in the foot if you run an affiliate Internet site because, rather than clicking on your affiliate links, your visitors might be clicking on your banner exchange links.

Following this, you need to pay care to the sites that you are exchanging links with. There are web sites that merely collect banners so that they are just like a portal or a directory then site that offers content. There are other names that these web sites are known as for instance: “link farms” or “banner farms” and they have nothing beneficial to offer your web site, but they absorb the traffic from your site.

Paid Banner Ads To Drive Traffic

As stated earlier, paid banner ads can be costly upfront, but very advantageous if you use them the proper way. You are going to need to make sure that the websites place your banner where their people are going to observe it and that they genuinely do have the traffic they maintain they have. Second you want to ensure the web site you are paying doesn’t have numerous banners on their site, or that your competitors are advertising there.

Broadly speaking banner ads are able to bring you incredible profits if you are smart. If you are going to employ banner ads then make sure that you follow the suggestions listed above.

Growing Your Opt-In List: Two Easy Ways to Gain Trust

Monday, June 29th, 2009

Because of the growing amount of spam and junk email, companies have created many email filters and protections to keep their e-mail accounts spam-free, there are also those who sign up for emails that promote their site’s products and services.  This is mainly because these subscribers want to receive information from the sites they’ve visited. They expect to receive information on what they are interested in and what are new in the niche they’ve chosen.

Internet websites would be lucky to have these subscribers; the basic element needed to get these types of people is trust. When your customers trust you they will they’ll be loyal. If people have used the internet for any amount of time, they’ve probably have gone to great lengths protecting their email accounts from spam.  Many internet providers of free email services and almost all ISPs offer junk mail and spam protection while there are also some online companies will even screen your email. The students I coach at my website know this well.

When you are involved in network marketing and have an opt-in list you need the newsletters you send containing your promotional information (newsletters, catalogs, ezines, etc.) go through. Your intended recipient needs to be able to view the information you send to them. In order to be allowed to send information, you’ll have to have them to give you permission, but before they subscribe, you’ll have to get their trust. With the great lack of disregard for privacy in the internet, getting the trust of an internet user you don’t personally know can be difficult.

My students at my website are taught how to build a large opt in list. To build a large email list people need to trust you, and to build up your list quickly, it’s important for your opt-in subscribers to trust you. It goes without saying that the quicker you build your autoresponder the quicker information about your network marketing business is spread. The bigger the opt-in list the more traffic you get which creates more profit for you.  Here are two helpful tips about gaining the trust of your customer.

1.  Gaining your reader’s trust shouldn’t be so hard especially since you have a legitimate business. Getting your reader’s trust needs to be based upon your knowledge. People generally trust people who know what they are talking about. Learn as much as you can about your online business so you can be knowlegable in your area of expertise..

2. You need to show your subscribers that you understand what you’re talking about. Send them helpful hints and information that have to do with your product or service. For example, send information about how often to change your heating filters if you provide hardware products or provide information about insurance settlements if you’re a settlement attorney. You don’t have to be a big company to make use of an email list. If your readers see you as someone and you understand what they need and want, they will trust you.

The most important thing to remember is that when you get your readers’ trust make sure you keep it. If you do anything with your customer’s email addresses like sell or give them out, you will lose many members of your list as well as potential members.
